Uniforms are not required at this time, but there is a dress code on the website.
We will be working toward accreditation through the National Alliance of Christian Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International.
All ACA teachers hold a NC teaching license and credentials. The ones that do not currently have certification with Association of Christian School International are pursuing it.
All grades use the same curriculum. The Bible will be integrated throughout the curriculum. See the website under curriculum for a more complete description

Lunch is 20 minutes. Students eat in the Family Life Center (FLC). Occasionally, students will eat in their classrooms or outside on picnic tables. Students bring their lunch daily. Students have the option to purchase hot lunch two days a week. These are ordered and paid for in advance. Tuesdays hot lunch is from Chick-fil-a and Thursdays hot lunch is from Big Guys Pizza.
We will follow Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District’s calendar fairly closely so that families with children in both schools will have the same holidays. See the website for the complete school year calendar.
The school day starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.
There is no deadline. However, please complete the application as soon as possible to ensure your child a place in the grade he/she is applying for.

If you pay the full tuition amount by the end of September, you will receive a 2% discount which reduces the tuition to $6,860.00.

Scholarship Information: Opportunity Scholarship is a government program that offers parents assistance with tuition in private schools. Applications are open February 1-28. When applying for this scholarship click Arlington Christian Academy under school choice.

Yes, Mary Martha Melancon, MS, CCC-SLP, with Hand in Hand Speech Consulting is available to assess students and offer speech therapy. These services will be a personal expense to the parents. Students will use Chromebooks for concept reinforcement sporadically, but not as part of their daily routine. Teachers use slides from the internet to enhance the teaching of concepts.
Research shows that children learn better with personal instruction. Electronic devices will be introduced and used regularly starting in fourth grade.
Yes, students will participate in Chapel once each week led by a staff member of Arlington Baptist Church.
The school colors are blue and white and the mascot is the eagle.
